Hello World!

I'm a software engineer in Seattle, creating with code.

Coder. Crafter. Caster.

Coder:

• Computers make sense in all the ways that people don't.
• Getting a program coded, working perfectly and efficiently is what I live for.
• I'm a huge language nerd and enjoy studying programming languages and the design choices that went into them.
• User Experience actually makes a difference for the end user. An effective UI must be well designed to be effective, clear, and beautiful.

Crafter:

• I build many LEGO sets, and enjoy the precision and spatial reasoning involved.
• I knit frequently to make scarves for myself and friends, sew occasionally, and tinker with jewelry.

Caster:

• Most of the books I read and shows I watch fall under Science Fiction and/or Fantasy.
• I play tons of tabletop games, especially role playing games. I enjoy being able to sling spells or control technology without a keyboard.
